No. A beneficiary IRA is entirely separate from your own IRAs.

Be aware if your tax return includes Form 8606, you'll need to wait until March 5 to file. There's a problem with the way TurboTax is handling this form that is supposedly going to be corrected by March 5.

Turbo asks me to "enter the total amount you put into a traditional IRA for 2024", does this also include the portion my employer directly paid for my retirement plan?
