Did you receive a 1099-R? If so, does it state the code 04E?

I'm going to assume you are filing a Louisiana tax return. That state has a retirement exclusion code 04E. That is the code you would use for military retirement.

On my 2018 LA tax return; I entered the code 04E and pressed: continue. On the next screen I got a notice "We'll remove this duplicate entry..." "We deduct this from your LA income automatically..." Where my LA forms and do I find my military retirement 1099-R deduction?
