Did you claim self-employment income? If so, it may be self-employment tax that you need to pay tax on if you claimed a net profit from the business.
I did not claim self-employment income. One of my employers gave me a W-2, and the other gave me a 1099.
If your employer gave you Form 1099-MISC, this is considered self-employment income and you would have a tax liability for self-employment tax, even though your income tax is $0.
