My recently deceased spouse received a 1099-R from NYS Teachers retirement System this is from his deceased step mothers retirement after her death. How do i enter that?

Turbo Tax prompts me for her DOB and RMD which i wouldn't know.

You will need the information to determine if an RMD is due - you should be able to check records and contact the plan administrator to see if an RMD was required.
