You do not have a choice now.  When you prepare your tax return, the software will calculate the self-employment tax you owe, as well as your ordinary income tax if you owe any.

You do not have a choice now.  When you prepare your tax return, the software will calculate the self-employment tax you owe, as well as your ordinary income tax if you owe any.
