It is asking why boxes are not checked on my 1099-R

Can you please clarify your question by providing more details on which boxes on Form 1099-R are giving you issues? You can always try to check and uncheck them if they are blank on your Form 1099-R to see if you then are allowed to proceed.

@rogerbld   IF this is a 1099-R you used last year too?

( for "Online" software only, and only for carry-over 1099-R forms)

1) Scroll to the bottom of the page...click on <Back>

2)  On the prior page...click on <Continue>

That should clear the page requiring entries for every box and checkbox....and you can make entries in only the places you need to.
