Is a government pension plan contribution an eligible retirement plan for tax deduction purposes?

You only enter it from the W2, nowhere else. Not under Deductions, it is not a IRA contribution. Does that help? It should come out of your paychecks pretax and have already been deducted from the wages in box 1 and you can't deduct it again.

Can I say I'm a full-time student to avoid receiving the Retirement Savings Contribution credit and thus avoid paying for TurboTax deluxe? I'm not a student.
