I'm still working and m

y wife is retired and receiving a pension from Calpers. I just finished my taxes and Turbo tax is saying she can contribute to an IRA. Is this correct?

Yes, she can contribute to a traditional IRA (a spousal contribution supported by your compensation), but the contribution may or may not be deductible depending on whether you are covered by a workplace retirement plan and your modified AGI for the purpose.
