I inherited an annuity from my wife that was designated as a Roth IRA that I cashed out. I am 70 years old. I did not take any other distributions from my retirement funds. The 1099-R that I received does not indicate that it was a Roth IRA. The Distribution code, line 7 has code 'Q', the IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box is blank, and Line 2b Taxable amount not determined is checked. How should I report this?
Thank you.

Distribution code Q identifies it as a Roth IRA. Just enter the 1099-R as it is.
