I think Box D on the 2210 refers to the Annualized Income method

This is how to post it:

Log into TurboTax

  1.  On the main menu go to Tax Tools
  2. Then elect Tools
  3. There will be 4 green boxes
  4. Select Topics Search
  5. Type Annualize Income
  6. Continue through the questions
  7. Be sure to reed them carefully.
  8. Towards the end you will see Conclusion.
  9. Do not check the box saying Do not use the annualized income method
  10. The last page will confirm that your 2210 and Schedule AI will be printed with your tax return.

Where do you need more boxes?  You have to add up the amounts for each due date.  There are 4 due dates.

2210 Part 2 line D says.....

Your penalty is lower when figured by treating the federal income tax withheld from your income as paid on the dates it was  actually withheld, instead of in equal amounts on the payment due dates. You must figure your penalty and file Form 2210.

Then you fill out line11 for estimated tax and tax withheld.  There are 4 boxes and dates, 4/15/23, 6/15/23, 9/15/23, & 1/15/24.   See instructions for 2210 end of page 4 for line 11 and withholding.

Here is a blank 2210 to fill out.  You need to fill out Schedule AI on page 3
