I was not a licensed (registered) contractor. I just remodelled my home, and some my friends saw my remodelled home and asked to me for their project. So I helped them to install flooring and tile (backsplash). It took several days, so they paid to me.
How can I report these kinds of income?
I'm worried about these income. Because I was/am not a registered (licensed) contractor. (It is not my comercial buisiness.)
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
You would be considered an independent contractor (do not worry about not having a license, the IRS does not care about that). If you received a 1099-MISC, with box 7 checked, you would file a Schedule C to report the income and expenses you had. If you received a 1099-K, you would report that instead.
Turbo Tax will walk you through how to report the income and expenses using your social security number and make sure you get the information on the correct forms.
