You can skip the screen if you do not have any W-2 because you are retired.

Please follow these steps to skip the W-2 entry and enter your Form 1099-R :

  1. Click on "Search" on the top right and type “1099-R”
  2. Click on “Jump to 1099-R”

In some cases, IF you used TTX last year, and if you had a W-2 last year (for 2020 taxes), the software transfers over an empty W-2 from that employer that needs to be deleted if no longer needed.
