You should receive a Form SSA-1099 reporting the benefits issued to your account as well as the premiums paid. If you didn't receive one in the mail or need a replacement, you can go online and request an instant, printable replacement form through your personal my Social Security account.
See here for more information from the SSA.
I don't see anywhere to make a request. Are you sure that if I don't receive any payments, I still get a SSA-1099? It all goes to Medicare Part B premiums and I had to pay extra to Medicare to cover the premiums.
Yes, if you are credited with Social Security benefits, you will receive a 1099-SA even if the amount is less than the amount you pay for Medicare premiums. You can request a copy of your 1099-SA through your My Social Security online account. Click here to log in.
If that doesn't work for you, click here and scroll to the bottom of the page for other ways to contact the SSA.
I don't think that's true anymore. I'm in the same situation and I didn't get a 1099. I called and ask to have one sent and I never got one. I think they've changed that for tax year 2024.
You can use this link to the Social Security Administration to download your SSA-1099 form online.
