I rolled my 2020 overpayment on my federal taxes ($8000), another government agency took it. How do I change it on my 2021 taxes in TurboTax?

Okay, please clarify.  You applied a 2020 refund against your 2021 estimated taxes, but then it was seized to pay some other govt debt?

  1. Sign into TurboTax Online.
  2. Continue your return by click Taxes > Tax Timeline > Continue your return.
  3. Go to the Federal Taxes tab (Personal tab in TurboTax Home and Business).
  4. Click on Deductions and Credits.
  5. Click on Jump to full list.
  6. Scroll down until you see the Estimates and Other Taxes Paid section and click Show More.
  7. Find Other Income Taxes and click Start/Revisit.

8.       2020 Refund Applied to 2021 and choose Start/Revisit to appropriate section
