My question is, why I didn't get a stimulus check for my son or daughter because I filed them but from the look of my tax form I wasn't able to carry them as dependents?.

If they were not listed as dependents on your return who were also eligible for the Child Tax Credit (under the age of 17), then you would not receive a stimulus payment for them.
