I received a statement from my bank notifying me that there was an error with my IRA account. What do I need to do since I’ve already filed my tax return for the year?

We have no idea what you need to do.  What was wrong?

What type  of error?   If you filed a 1099-R form that  was incorrect then the bank must issue a corrected 1099-R.

The statement was sent to my parents house, therefore, I was unable to read it personally. It turns out there was no error just a notice in regards to the deadline extension made due to COVID-19. Thank you for your willingness to help!
