I receive items from amazon to keep and review that are reported as taxable income at FMV. If I sell the item for less than FMV, are the sales taxed again? Or a loss

The tax scenario would be almost exactly like if I were to win a car on a game show, and proceed to pay the taxes for the car. Once the car's taxes have been paid, I then sold the car.
