I previously paid the 3 year 401K COVID Form 8915 commitment but Turbotax is still carrying over 1099-R when I log for 2023. How do get rid of this for 2023? Thank you.

I am retired now and only have SSA-1099 for 2023. But Turbotax already shows 2089 Federal Due because of that previous 1099-R. I tried to delete the 8915 Form (with fingers crossed) to solve the problem but it doesn't delete.

Delete the Form 1099-R and the Form 8915

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Tools

Click on Delete a form

However, if the Social Security benefits are the Only income to be reported on the tax return, then there is no reason or need to file a tax return.
