I'm trying to enter a 1099r for the spouse but the software reverts me to the husband and won't let me proceed. How do I get out of this loop?

Hello -

When entering retirement income for a 1099R - there is a screen titled" Verify the Owner of This 1099-R" , there is an option to select who's Form 1099-R belongs to. The screen defaults to the Taxpayer's copy.  On this screen you need to select your spouse name to enter a 1099R received by your spouse.
