Determining if your Social Security income is taxable depends on your total income.
If all your income is from Social Security, it's probably is not taxable (because only half of your social security may be taxes; which is usually below the minimum taxable income threshold).
If your total income, includes Social Security plus any other income, enter your total Social Security Income (from ALL Form SSA-1099 types) so TurboTax can calculate how much (if any) is taxable.

To add benefits from the Social Security Administration Form SSA-1099 (before filing):
1. Sign In or Open TurboTax
2. Select "Take me to my return" (Online)
3. Select "My Account" on top right of the screen (Online)
4. Click on "Tools"
5. Go to "Topics Search" (Online) or "Search Topics" in the top center of the screen (Desktop)
6. Type "SSA-1099" and press "enter" to add a SSA-1099.
To delete entries on Form W-2 screen:
1. Select "My Account" on top right of the screen (Online)
2. Click on "Tools" (Online)
3. Go to "Topics Search" (Online) or "Search Topics" in the top center of the screen (Desktop)
5. Type "W-2" and press "enter" (Online) or "ok" (Desktop)
6. Select "Delete" (trashcan icon) if any W-2 data exists on your "W-2 info" screen (Online) or the "Here's your W-2 info" screen (Desktop).
