I lived in Canada in all of 2016 + prior.  How can I make it clear I am Canadian?????

That's because you're in the wrong website. You're using the U.S. version of the program, and you're in the U.S. support forums for the program. You need to start at https://impotrapide.intuit.ca/tax-software/index.jsp  Once on that page, choose the language you desire (French or English) at the top right of that screen.
