I have been retired for 10 years with the same 2 incomes that do not change very much. Why all the new questions?

I've had the same 2 payers (1 being SSA and the other a state pension) but the incomes have changed only slightly over the past 7 years. Why can't TT get the info from my past returns?

Did you use the same account and user ID and transfer 2022 in to 2023?   Or did you start from scratch in a new account?

Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.

To enter your retirement income, Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.

Tax laws change, tax forms change as do preparation fees and procedures.
