I have a question regarding my 1099 B form

If one buys stk in one brokerage acct and later sells in a diss brokerage acct the 1099b recd from the broker where I sol doesn’t have a record of the cost basis therefore doesn’t record my loss

If a cost basis is not given on the 1099-B you can report what that basis is from your own records.

Your records of when you purchased the stock will have a cost basis for the stock.  You will use this cost basis when you are entering the sale data from the selling broker.
