I have a form SSA-1099 for benefits paid for my daughter for her deceased father. Do I file that on my taxes or not since it's for her?
If her Social Security number is in box 2 of the Form SSA-1099 then you do not enter those benefits on your tax return. If this is the only income received by your daughter she does not have a tax return.
