I had contributed to RothIRA, its saying that I get credit but it totaled as 0. Now it wants me to pay for deluxe to get this non existent credit. Do I take out that IRA?

Do I need to take the IRA off since it doesn't give me anything anyway? Or will that mess things up?

Contributions to Roth IRAs are never tax-deductible.   However, those contributions do qualify for the Saver's credit.   The Saver's credit is on Form 8880, but you are not required to take the credit.  You can delete Form 8880.    You can delete the Roth contribution, as well; just make sure you did not contribute more than you are allowed to.   Contributing directly to a Roth IRA is restricted if your income is beyond certain limits.  Check the chart below to ensure you did not over-contribute.

In addition to the general contribution limit that applies to both Roth and traditional IRAs, your Roth IRA contribution may be limited based on your filing status and income.
