If you are getting money from an annuity, the income will be reported on a 1099-R.
The 1099-R reports what portion of the money is taxable. It's entered in TurboTax on the Federal Taxes>Your Income page under Retirement Plans and Social Security (Scroll down). You can also type "1099-R" in the Search box, then select Jump to 1099-R.
Annuities typically have contributions from the annuity owner, so not all of the money is taxable. The taxable portion is reported in Box 2a.
Enter your 1099-R into TurboTax (or import it) exactly as written.
