I am retired Navy and lived in Illinois half of the year then moved to Wisconsin because of a job transfer. Do I allocate all of my retirement pension to Illinois?

Or do I allocate half to Illinois and half to Wisconsin. But Illinois was the state I was living in when I enlisted in the Navy.

Split your pension between Illinois and Wisconsin.

Pensions are sourced to your current state of residence, not the state of origin. Report to Illinois the amount you received while living in IL and do the same with WI.
