Turbotax is not allowing me to efile because it says that I over contributed to my Roth 401(k). It says the max is $24,500. However, my amount includes $22,800 for Roth 401(k) and $14,500 for Roth 457. Am I not allowed to make a max contribution to more than one plans? I am over 50 and have both plans. Is it not allowed to contribute $24,500 to Roth 401(k) and $24,500 to Roth 457(b)? Turbo keeps giving me the check your entries message. But the error message says Roth contributions is more than allowed for Roth 401k plan. The issue is that the amount entered include amounts made to both plans. Thank you.

[Edit 4/4/2019: This problem appears to be fixed with the R24 release of 2018 TurboTax on 4/4/2019]
The $18,500 plus $6,000 catch-up for a Roth 457(b) contribution (code EE in box 12 of your W-2) is a separate limit from the $18,500 plus $6,000 catch-up for a Roth 401(k) contribution (code AA in box 12 of your W-2). There is nothing wrong with having contributed up to the maximum of $24,500 to each.
Please confirm that you've selected code AA for the Roth 401(k) contribution and code EE for the Roth 457(b) contribution. If so, it seems that TurboTax is erroneously identifying an excess contribution and I'll report the problem to the moderators.
