How do I declare my teachers pension?

You will get a 1099R for that. You need to wait for all your tax forms to come in the mail. They have until Jan 31 to mail it to you or you can usually get it online by logging into your pension account. Oh the 1099R input section is not ready yet.

Enter a 1099R under
Federal Taxes
Wages & Income
Then scroll way down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
Then IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R) – Click Start
