How can I enter my Roth IRA distribution of $5,996.00 into Turbo Tax 2018 without having to list our contributions? I am 67 years and have no records.

The step by step process in the 2018 Turbo Tax Premium software does not allow me to move forward with entering my 2018 distribution from my Roth IRA without listing my contributions first.  I have no records of my contributions and do not see why this is necessary because I am 67 years old and all distributions are tax free whether they were from contributions or earnings on the Roth IRA account.

Enter zero.   The answer is immaterial of you are over age 59 1/2 and have owned the Roth for at least 5 years.
