1099 income from doing accounting = Qualify for Section 199a deduction

Hey there -

I was hired by a company on a trial basis and paid 1099 income. They later hired me as a full time / W2 employee

The job was mostly doing accounting work, but maybe 10% of the work was not involved in accounting.

Will any of the 1099 income qualify for the Section 199a / Qualified Business income deduction of 20% ?

TIA,  Tom
