Hello twoodycreek:
There are indeed some state-level benefits in Colorado available to veterans, including those with disabilities. You can read about some of them in more detail from the following sources.
First, this Colorado state government publication is quite helpful, including especially the "Tax Benefits" section found on Page 2:
https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/sites/default/files/Benefits.pdf
Second, this webpage at the site Military.com contains a useful summary of Colorado military (including veterans) benefits:
http://www.military.com/benefits/veteran-state-benefits/colorado-state-veterans-benefits.htmlThose resources should inform you of the basics as to what you can expect.
Thank you for asking this question; and on behalf of all the veterans and non-veterans working here at TurboTax, we thank you as well for your military service.
