Form 8995 is being erroneously added/included to my return, how do i delete the information that is triggering form 8995?

It depends. Form 8995 is generated when you have Qualified Business Income (QBI) to deduct in your return. It could be from self-employment, rental property, or from a K-1. Do you have any of these income.

You might try deleting form 8995 by going to.

if this doesn't work, then you need to try to determine the data entry point in your return where this occured.

My trigger was from a company I had in the previous year. I had to delete it in "Business Income  and Expenses" and then the form 8995 disappeared.
