The tax withheld should be reported on the 1099-R Box 4.  You can enter the 1099-R in TurboTax under Retirement Income.

The tax withheld should be reported on the 1099-R Box 4.  You can enter the 1099-R in TurboTax under Retirement Income.

Fed tax was withheld from my RMD. Where was that amount applied?

TurboTax will take the amount that you enter in box 4 of TurboTax's 1099-R form and combine it on Form 1040 line 64 or 1040A line 40 along with your withholding from other Forms 1099 and W-2.
