Entire section where I should be able to import a 1099-B from my broker has disappeared

Perhaps your computer is experiencing a loop.  Let's clear your cookies, history and Cache' then reboot.

Cookies are small files that temporarily store data on your computer. We use them to personalize your experience so you see information you already entered and not irrelevant or repetitive items.

On rare occasions, they may make your browser think you already did something you still need to do. To fix that, you must delete (clear) the cookies from your browser.

Another Option:

Select Search, enter 1099-B, and select Jump to 1099-B. You can also go to Federal, then Wages & Income, then Investments and Savings. Select Start or Revisit next to Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other (1099-B).
