Entering a NJ Division of Pensions and Benefits Form 1099-R
The TurboTax 1099-R form selection does not resemble the NJ Form 1099-R (entry boxes different). The CSA -1099-R TurboTax selection matches the NJ 1099-R exactly. Can I use the CSA form, even though it's not for OPM?

Entering a NJ Division of Pensions and Benefits Form 1099-R
Yes, you can use the CSA-1099-R interview to enter information you received from the NJ Division of Pensions and Benefits. You must, however, edit the Payer information so it shows the NJ Division of Pensions and Benefits name, address and FEIN.
After selecting CSA 1099-R from your 1099-R options, the next screen is pre-populated with the Office of Personnel Management's name, address and FEIN - you must edit that information so it shows what is on the 1099-R from the NJ Division of Pensions and Benefits.
The return will correctly process the income and tax information from the 1099-R and show its source as the NJ Division of Pensions and Benefits.
