Entering 1099R and W-2

To enter your 1099-R form:

• Go to Federal Taxes > Wages & Income
• Scroll down to the Retirement Plans and Social Security section
• Click Start next to IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R)
• Answer Yes to Did you have any of these types of income in 2016?
• On the next screen, click I'll type it in myself
• Select the type of 1099-R that you have on the next screen.
• Proceed through the rest of the interview to enter your 1099-R information.

To enter your w-2:

1. Click Federal Taxes
2. Then click Wages & Income
3. Select "I'll choose what I work on"
4. Scroll down to Wages & Salaries section and click Start.
5. Continue through the interview to enter your W-2 information.
