Do I need to send copy of Social Security 1099 SM with my return? I had taxes withheld.

The Social Security 1099 SM says not to submit the form to SS or IRS. I had taxes deducted and want to make sure it that tax withholding gets credited.

If you are mailing in the return all forms showing federal or state withholdings should be attached ... make a copy do not send the original.

To calculate my W2 income, do I subtract my Gross pay from what the company paid in taxes? Ex. local income tax, federal tax, social security tax, medicare tax?
