Do not try to enter your SSA1099 as a W-2. Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security to enter your SSA1099.

Trying to file 2020 tax return and cannot enter SSA-1099, I am in the Federal Tax section. A blank page comes up.

What happens when you follow this procedure -
To enter Social Security benefits reported on form SSA-1099
Or enter ssa-1099 in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to ssa-1099
It still send me to a blank page, still in the Federal Tax section

If you are using the TurboTax online edtions, sign off the the account you are using.
On your web browser clear cache. See this TurboTax support FAQ - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/troubleshooting/help/how-to-clear-your-cache/00/26135
Close the browser and re-start the browser. Sign back onto your TurboTax account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
See if the problem still persists.
If you are using the TurboTax desktop editions installed on your personal computer for Windows -
Save your tax return and close the TurboTax program.
Right click on the TurboTax icon on your desktop screen
Click on Properties
Click on the Compatibility tab
Check the box Run this program as an administrator
Click on Apply and OK
Start the TurboTax desktop program again and see if the problem persists
