You can "X" then un"X" them and it will then let you move on..

BUUUUT
IF this is a 1099-R you used last year too?
( for "Online" software only, and only for carry-over 1099-R forms)
1) Scroll to the bottom of the page...click on <Back>
2) On the prior page...click on <Continue>
That should clear the page requiring entries for every box and checkbox....and you can make entries in only the places you need to.
