When will forms for IRA distribution for 2023 be ready?

The Form 1099-R for tax year 2023 has been available for over a month in the TurboTax program.

Are you using the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions?  If so, have you updated your software to the latest release?

Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen.  Click on Check for Updates

Yes I did the updates yesterday but it still says "This section will be ready soon. This section unavailable while we work on updates for recent tax law changes". It's been saying that for the last two weeks but thanks for answering.

Then something is screwy with your tax software.

Shut down TTX, and get the Manual Update.....and run that .exe file separately.  Then see what the forms indicate. (it takes a LOT longer than expected...go wash the dishes for a while).

If you are using a Mac, a reboot is sometimes required after an update.
