17 year old son received SSDI because mother is disabled. His amount is $1269 for the year. Do I need to claim this at all?

17 year old son received SSDI because mother is disabled. His amount is $1269 for the year. Do I need to claim this at all?
You do not enter on your tax return any Social Security benefits received by a dependent. If the dependent does not have any other type of income they do not report the benefits received on a tax return.
