On my way 1099 R form I received box 16 is blank and box 14 has a amount it says box 14 has to be smaller then box 16 what would I have to put on box 16 if it’s blank on the form I received

On your form 1099-R, box 16 should be equal to box 1 (distribution amount).

The issuer has omitted to fill box 16. You can enter the amount in box 1 for box 16.
