1099R Question

I am using 2019 TT to try to prepare my inlaws 2019 return. Once done if it matches theone she paid to have done....I know I am good and will use TT 2020 to do this year's return. All went well except the 1099R.

Her Financial advisor says NONE of these choices are correct for clasifying her Variable Annuity.  I am somehow in the wrong place or TT is not asking the proper question.  He says the questions that follow are not appropriate for  a variable annuity. Where do I enter this info.?

....it asks me this specifically...he says no answers here are correct for variable annuity.

The first one is for ALL 1099-R's that are not one of the others.  (That is what the "etc" means.)

The first choice on the list, Form 1099-R, includes variable annuities.
