1099-R

I have been trying for 2 weeks to file my taxes. However, when I try to enter my husbands 1099-R I get the message the IRS is still working on finishing up the distributions from pensions. I was able to enter my 1099-R but it won't let me enter a 2nd one. I have run update several times, it does not help. I am running out of time. Please help!!!

    Are you using the CD/download desktop version?  - Be sure that it is up to date with release r22.

     

    Do you have a 2016 to 2019 qualified disaster that the retirement was used for, to report?

    Tax season has been extended until May 15. Are you having issues with the COVID distribution? Delete both Forms 1099-R.Clear your cache and cookies and restart your computer. This should clear out everything and give you a clean slate to try again.

     

    Form 8915-E, Qualified 2020 Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions and Repayments is finalized.

     

    Here's the general procedure for viewing the forms list and deleting unwanted forms, schedules, and worksheets in TurboTax Online:

    1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
    2. In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
    3. In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
    4. Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the instructions.
