1099-G tax refund

Hi,

I've got this 1099-G but it says nowhere on it why, in a way that match up with your options.

The box 2 states "State of local income tax refunds, credits, or offsets".

Since the amount is listed in box 2, it means it reports your state refund. Please use steps below to enter the information:

1. Federal Taxes 
2. Wages & Income
3. Scroll down to Other Common Income    
4. Select State and Local Tax Refunds on Form 1099-G
