How do I enter a RMD for an account that I didn't take a distribution and didn't receive a 1099R. I took the required RMD from a different account.

RMD for acct #1  =  $1000  -  I took out $2000 for the RMD - I recieved a 1099R

RMD for acct #2  = $500 -  I took out $0 for the RMD - I didn't receive a 1099R

Turbo tax is only asking for the RMD on acact #1 that I got a 1099R form

Where do I put the RMD requirement for the second acct?

According to the IRS, you may take your RMD from one account.

Therefore, in TurboTax, inputting the RMD you took from the first account will satisfy your total RMD.

Here is a link, "Can an account owner just take a RMD from one account instead of separately from each account?"
