I trying to use the Get my payment IRS portal to update my boyfriend he receives SSI and never had to file a tax return direct deposit information after the bank had rejected it due to wrong account number, so I went on there to update it and it gave me the first question pertained to his AGI which is 0( due to him being on SSI) and the second question was received a refund or owed money but I can't choose either one so I can get past the page so I'm trying to figure out will he still receive his stimulus check?

See this IRS website for SSI recipients - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/supplemental-security-income-recipients-will-receive-automatic-economic...
The Treasury Department, not the Social Security Administration, will make these automatic payments to SSI recipients. Recipients will generally receive the automatic payments by direct deposit, Direct Express debit card, or by paper check, just as they would normally receive their SSI benefits.
I understand that, but I submitted it one time and the bank rejected it due to incorrect banking information so I went bank to the portal to update his direct deposit information but it's telling me to give additional tax return information about does he owe or have received a refund but he never filed because he receives SSI, so it is not letting me get past that page without answering that question. So will he still receive his stimulus check?
If he received SSI, the stimulus payment will go to the account he has on file with Social Security. If that bank account is incorrect and the bank rejects the stimulus and sends it back to the IRS, then the IRS will issue him a paper check.
