IRS Portal Now Open; Status Shows Turbo Tax Didn’t Give Enough Info For Me To Receive Payment

my fourth day in a row .. get my payment app keeps telling me my tax info is wrong ! How do I get help

And the majority of the 10% that did receive it already aren't the one that really needed it!! I put in my checking account info to get it sent to my chime account and I be damned if it's sending me a paper check in the mail. Same thing with a friend of mine. She put in her checking account info and they are sending her a paper check. I'm beyond livid about it. I'll be in contact with them and TurboTax and they'll both hearit from me. I have a child and bills. Can't work because childcare since school is out for the rest of the year. And the company I work for I am self contracted and the place I work at is only allowing so many people in at a time. It's not worth paying a sitter and the long wait times.

Yes I won't be doing business with them again either. It wouldnt let me use my banking info because I had them take their fees out of my refund. I will be going with someone else totally free next year. I dont care about any advances at least ill have peace of mind. Now I have to wait for a paper check to be mailed out because they wont deposit the stimulus on the turbo card and the new bank info i put in didnt match their records.

As much as I paid to do my taxes threw TurboTax I'm appalled at this situation!! They got almost 300 $ of my money and now this. H&R Block did the same thing to their clients. I'm gonna find out if the person I know get a update on hers from the IRS she used h&r block. All she had to do was enter the account and routing numbers for her emerald card. I'm kinda thinking chime rejected the payment from them to my account that's what the IRS website says most likely happened. Too bad it's Saturday and the aren't open or I'd be on the phone with them right now. I'm contacting chime and TurboTax as well to see with I can do about this. I don't have 6 weeks to wait. It could take as long as a few months to get a paper check. Plus the mail people that deliver the mail in my complex don't pay attention and just put mail where ever in whoever's box. I constantly get mail for someone who lives way in the back and I live in the very front and I get my neighbors mail just about daily.

I have used TurboTax for years and this year I had my fees withheld from my refund so I thought I would get a paper check for the stimulus payment.  To my surprise, it was deposited on Friday into my bank account.

Everyone check the get my payment portal. I just checked it and there is information when my deposit will be sent. NO MORE PAYMENT STATUS NOT AVAILABLE!!! FINALLY!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!

I had the same status not enough information but when I tried to enter bank information it said error and locked me out for 24hrs. I logged on last night only to see that my payment is being mailed to me now and no option to enter bank information. I am truly upset because I am moving next week and had to take time off from work so I was counting on this. It's weird we can use the card for direct deposit with a job but not for the IRS especially when it shows info on the return

They asked me for adjusted gross income not how much I received for the refund

If you had fees taken out of your return then the account information the IRS has is not the same account as your TurboTax card account!! When you get an advance or fees taken from your refund they do it threw a 3rd party bank. The account on your return is the account for the 3rd party bank. It's sent to them they take the fees and/or advance out of the return then they send it to your turbo card account. It's like this with H&R Block as well. I used TurboTax a friend used it as well and another friend used H&R Block. She checked hers this am and it says the same thing mine says. I asked someone who knows about taxes and this stimulus payment and she said just about everyone who updated threw the IRS portal is saying they are getting a check mailed. Noone knows why. But I don't get the flipping point of them asking for account information if they are just going to send all of us **bleep** checks. I feel your pain. Got rent electric water and internet bills all due ( I'm self contracted) I'm not able to work because wait times and no childcare atm. It's all bs.

@Tjhutson1990 why do you think you're getting a check instead of direct deposit? I updated my info and it says it will update the page with deposit date when it is determined.

@Jeromym  mine updated over night. It says that a check will be mailed out to the address on my return on April 24, 2020. I updated my dd info in the IRS portal Wednesday morning.

@Tjhutson1990 I just checked, mine still doesn't have a date. I updated it to my actual checking account. Well, at least you know it's coming to you now eventhough it's a check.

@Jeromym  I did too. I have a Chime checking account that's the info I entered in the portal. If they don't fix it a can still put it in my chime account by taking a picture of it and sending it to them but I put my info in so it would go straight to the account. I just wonder why they are sending a check when I entered all the info and numbers correct and my name and address and phone number is all the exact same as what the IRS has for me.
