Families First coronavirus relief bill -how are self employed people covered

Hi - I came across the article on the Families First coronavirus relief bill on marketwatch.com. As a small business owner who is self employed owning a s corporation, I am both the employer, employee and a shareholder/owner of the company. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic my company's earnings have dropped due to lower spend by clients. Also, where I live there's state mandated quarantine and school closure. How would this work in my situation? Am I able to provide myself the benefits of employee paid leave and get employer tax credit?  Or would it be easiest to take tax credit as self-employed? I have no idea how that works.

The questions about “stimulus checks” are beginning after a press conference that just happened on 3-17-2020.   So far this is a proposal that has not been finalized or voted on by Congress.  Please be patient until there is actual information to provide to you.  We cannot tell you if you will get a check, when you will get a check or how much it will be for.  No one knows yet.
